Mahinga kai

Kia ora e te whanau

We have had a few planting days now, and our maara continues to grow.

He kai kei aku ringa...

We want to mihi to all of the whanau who have helped grow this kaupapa, from building a little nursery, fixing the bore, installing water tanks, setting up an irrigation system, planting, weeding, kohi seaweed for fertiliser, sharing their mahinga kai matauranga and all the mahi that goes into a mahinga kai of this size. Nau te rourou, naku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi.

Nga mihi
